What we collect and why
The site does not ask you for any personal information. You can browse it without giving us your name, email or any other details.
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when you visit (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time). It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
When you contact us directly
If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, your message and contact details go directly to us. We use them only to answer you and to handle your request, and we don't add you to any mailing list without your permission.
Service providers we use
We share information only with the service providers below, and only as needed for the purpose described. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Base44 (Wix.com) – Hosts this website and its database of listings. When you load a page, the hosting servers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, and the platform gives the site owner anonymous page-view counts. (privacy policy)
- Hebcal – Calculates the weekly Shabbat times (data © Hebcal.com, CC BY 4.0). Our server asks Hebcal for the times at the town's coordinates; your location and IP address are not sent to Hebcal. (privacy policy)

We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other websites
Listings link to each place's own website, to Google Maps for directions and to phone numbers. Those sites are run by others and have their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them until you click.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves a few settings in your browser, and loads third-party content only with your permission:
